OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Filling up the posts of Assistant Development Commissioner in FSEZ, Manikanchan SEZ and various Private Special Economic Zones in

West Bengal, Odisha and Nagaland under the jurisdiction of Zonal Development Commissioner on deputation basis.

It is proposed to fill up 13(Thirteen) post of Assistant Development Commissioner (Group-B Gazetted) in the level of Pay Matrix: 7 {Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800/- (PB02) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- (pre-revised)} in FSEZ, Manikanchan SEZ and various Private Special Economic Zones located in West Bengal Odisha and Nagaland underthe jurisdiction of Development Commissioner on deputation basis. The experience and qualification required forthe posts are indicated in Annexure-I.

2. It is requested that applications, in the given Proforma (Annexure-ll) of the eligible and willing officers who could be relieved in the event of selection, alongwith the following documents may please the forwarded to the Development Commissioner, Falta Special Economic Zone on the above address through proper channel within 45 days from the date of publication on this advertisement in the Employment News.

(a) Complete and up to date confidential reports for the last five years attested photocopies thereof, (b) Integrity Certificate/Vigilance Clearance, (c) Details of major/minor penalties during the last 10 years (if no penalties have been imposed, it should be stated).

3. Applications received after the last date or without the confidential reports or other relevant documents or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered.

4. The appointment will be on deputation basis. The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years. The terms of deputation will be regulated in accordance with the standard terms and conditions prescribed by the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India vide their OM no. 6/82009-Estt(Pay-ll) dated 17.06.2010 as amended from the time to time. Officials who volunter for the post will not be permitted to withdraw their names later.

Annexure-I

Experience and qualification for the posts

Methodology for filling up the posts of Assistant Development Commissioner

(i) The appointment will be purely on deputation basis.

(ii) An employee of the Central Government or State Government or a PSU or Autonomous Bodies of Central Government or State Government may alone be considered for these posts.

(iii) The educational qualification, work experience and other eligibility conditions like age limit etc. would be the same as provided in the recruitment rules prescribed for the respective posts in the Central Government SEZs.

Eligibility:

Offices under the Central Government:

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department or (ii) with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 5500-9000/- (Pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department or (iii) with eight years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 5000-8000/- (Pre-revised ) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department and (b) processing two years experience in the field of Industrial Development or Foreign Trade.

(Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of Cental government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application).
