1. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for the following Central Government posts in the Pay Scales (with other authorized allowances as admissible), Age limit & Educational Qualifications as mentioned against each :-

(i) The above posts are subject to ‘All India Service Liability’ including Field service.

(ii) The reserve vacancy of Ex-serviceman in tradesman category will be adjusted against respective category as per merit of Ex-servicemen.

2. Govt. servant applying for any posts will get an age relaxation upto 40 years (45 years in case of SC/ST). The Govt. servant must furnish a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer/office at the time of the test else their candidature will be cancelled.

Eligibility:- Candidate who meet the under mentioned age criteria and educational qualification should only apply for the post. In case an applicant wants to apply for more than one post separate application will be submitted for each post.

10th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer. (35 wpm & 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depression for each word).
Desirable :
Experience in handling medical stores.
(ii) Peon Essential: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
(iii) Safaiwala Essential: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
(iv) Tradesman Mate Essential: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

3. Last date for receipt of application: The last date for receipt of applications is 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News (excluding the date of publication), in case of candidates belonging to Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim, Ladakh Sub-Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District of Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nikobar Island and Lakshadweep the last date for receipt of application shall be 28 days from the date of publication of advertisement. However the crucial date for determining the age limit for all shall be the closing date of receipt of application i.e. 21 days from publication.

4. Candidate should specially note that the late delivery of call letters for test/examination intimation due to postal delay (such as envelopes wrongly addressed, delivered elsewhere etc.) will not be entertained and no correspondence will be made in this regard.

5. Certificate of experience in the trade where experience is desirable be produced.

6. Photocopy of the following documents/certificates are to be attached alongwith application, duly self attested:-

(a) Two passport size photographs duly self attested, one on right corner of application and one additional photograph be enclosed.

(b) Attested copies of following certificate will also be submitted with application:-

(i) Education qualification Certificates and other essential certificates where applicable.

(ii) Date of Birth Certificate.

(iii) Caste Certificate where applicable.

(iv) Discharge certificate for Ex-serviceman or No Objection Certificate from the competent authority for serving Defence Personnel who are completing the prescribed period of Army Services within a year from the last date for receiving application.

(c) A self addressed envelope (size 4 x 9 inch) affixed with a postal stamp of Rs.25/-will also be att with the application.

7. Points for rejection of applications: Application received after the due date (even due to postal delay) will be rejected invariably and no correspondence will be entertained. The following acts/omissions would render a candidate/ application disqualified:-

(a) Applications that are not in the prescribed format or are incomplete or unsigned or undated.

(b) Furnishing of false and inaccurate or dubious information, Submission of false/ tampered documents.

(c) If envelope is not superscribed with the name of the post applied and category or incorrect name of the post on the an envelope and application.

(d) Applications submitted without self addressed envelope/postage stamps.

(e) Applications not accompanied by self-attested copies of certificates/prescribed certificates in support of age, educational qualification, typing speed, caste, discharge etc.

(f) Applications submitted without self attested copies of photographs.

(g) Applications submitted by hand will not be accepted.

(h) More than one application submitted by the candidate for the same post or more than one post applied for on the same application.

(j) Any other deemed irregularly or reason as observed by Board of Officers.

(k) Canvassing on the application in any form or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will entail disqualification.

(I) In case, the candidate is found using unfair means or adopting any malpractice at any stage of the selection process/tests.

(m) If the candidate is underage or overage on closing date of receipt of application specified at para 3 above.

(n) If the candidate is found not possessing the essential qualification or physical parameters required for the post.

(o) The decision of appointing authority regarding selection/rejection will be final.

(p) Number of posts/vacancies are tentative and recruitment process can be cancelled/suspended/terminated by the appointing authority at any stage due to administrative reasons.

(q) No extra weightage is to be given for additional/extra/higher qualification.

(r) Candidates on selection are liable to be transferred anywhere in India including field area.

10. It is made clear that merely fulfilling the basic essential qualification/requirement does not automatically entitle a person to be called for test. The selection will be made strictly on the merit basis. The decision of appointing authority regarding selection/rejection will be final. It is also made clear that the number of posts/ vacancies is tentative and recruitment process can be cancelled/suspended/ terminated by the Office of the DGAFMS, New Delhi at the any stage due to administrative reasons.

12. The question papers of Written Test (Objective Type) will be bilingual ‘Both in English and Hindi for all posts’. The syllabus for written examination for above mentioned post is as under:-

13. The Trade Test/Skill Test or Physical Test are of qualifying in nature. The selection will be made solely based on marks obtained by the applicant in the written test only subject to qualifying in the trade test/physical test/skill test/typing test as applicable.

14. WARNING: All candidates are warned to be careful of self styled agents or touts and are also requested to inform the Commandant of this depot of any malpractices seen/observed by them.

15. The date and time for written, trade/skill test & physical test will be intimated to candidates through call letter, whose application and particulars are found to be correct and in order.

16. All appointments are initially for two years probation period but likely to be made permanent on successful completion of the probation period.

17. TA/DA and accommodation will not be admissible to the candidates for appearing written/trade test. Duration between written test and skill/trade test/typing test can be 15 days or more. Candidates will make their own arrangement for lodging/boarding during the tests.

18. The candidate should be medically fit at the time of carrying out physical/trade test. Commandant of this depot will not be responsible for any injury which may occur during the process of physical/trade/skill tests.

19. The offer of appointment order is subject to police verification, medical fitness,

verification of caste certificate as applicable for SC/ST/OBC, verification of education qualification certificate. If the verification reveals that the claim is false, the appointment will be terminated forthwith without further clarification.
